Preston winning wouldn't be too bad as it would drag Coventry
well and truly into the mire. |

Yeah, but it would be even better if we won.

i have a hunch today will be pivotal. we could have put ourselves in a
strong position to stay up but we're completely screwing it up. we need a draw at the very least. |

This is poor. Didn't really expect this today especially with our recent home record.

Didn't look like we were going to get anything so this would be a bonus.

2-2 at full time. a point is better than nothing but this was yet another missed
opportunity for us. Preston won again so they're not dead & buried yet either. |

Nothing has changed too much after this result. We still have that four-point cushion, the only difference now it's over Sheff United instead of Scunthorpe.
It's two points dropped but we didn't lose, the last gasp leveller might give us a boost and it's also 12 games unbeaten at home now. And elsewhere Coventry seem to be in free-fall which could be good news for us although Preston suddenly finding form is a bit of a pain. That all said we really, really have to beat Barnsley next time out. |

at 1-1 we should have finished them off in the 1st half... 2nd half we blew it and got away with a point in the end...
sheff utd winning was a blow but we still have the advantage... we must beat barnsley. |

The weekend of 2nd/3rd April could really be a pivotal one for us. Obviously we're at home to Barnsley but Sheff Utd are away to QPR, Scunthorpe are away to Norwich, Preston play Swansea and Coventry play Watford. Could possibly be a big opportunity for us.

That's good news about Mahon joining but really bad news that Marrow is out for another four weeks. He's not having much luck of late.

Marrow is a big miss. i would have him as a front runner for our
player of the year this season. i'm getting nervous about this weekend. we blow it against Barnsley we could be in serious trouble. |

That's a real shame about Charlie Mann and a bit of a surprise to be honest. Although I'm sure he will succeed elsewhere.

Palace 2-1 Barnsley
first word that comes to mind is phew! massive win for us. just deserved it overall but we don't make things easy but i suppose it wouldn't be Palace then. annoyed that Preston won again, they are bang in form which is a concern. |

Big, big win. It didn't really matter too much how it came about, just getting the three points was the most important thing. Danns was immense today.
Our home form is stunning. Unbeaten in 13 now at Selhurst and that is 10 home wins this season. If we can just win one more game away then we should be able to get to the 50-point target. Preston winning was a downer but Scunthorpe are looking more and more as if they have gone. Just got to hope QPR beat Sheff Utd on Monday night or at the very least the Blades fail to win. |
