We have some young relatives visiting from abroad soon, and we want them to be able to keep in touch in the event of an emergency while here.

We have been loaned an old Virgin Mobile Nokia (it looks very like the 6333 - I think that was the number - which I used to have) and have been told that it has £3 remaining on it.

I don't know anything about pay as you go as I have always used contract.

Looking through the menus, I cannot find anywhere that tells me how much credit actually remains. I found a place at 4-8-2 which says "Credit available" but it shows 0, but so do all the other menu pages associated with credit like "Last recharge" and "Expiry date".

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks very much, that was exactly what I needed.

Good job it wasn't something phone specific as I have just remembered the correct type number and it was quite different!
