Okay, I need a life. It finished ages ago and just sitting watching clips now, I miss it! I get way too attatched, I need to let it go

And yes, this is a pretty pointless thread, just wondered if anybody else feels the same! (though maybe not everyone is as sad as me )

Hah, don't worry, you're definately not alone! (I'm currently watching all the results show group performances on Youtube to pass the time... ) I miss it too!

Thank goodness for my DVDs! And the Larkabouts

I also miss it. There are no good singing shows on at the moment. Except that one with DVO. Who ever dares sing. And it's sh***t.

I started watching Last Choir Standing on Saturday - it was ok! I'm also watching the Canadian version of HDYSAPLM which is great!

Wouldn't bother with anything on ITV really.

I really miss it! I thought Every1 on the forum had gotten over it and I hadn't, sooo now I'm glad i'm not the only one!
I don't think Ive ever been so attached to a show, it was Amazing, Saturday Nights aren't the same without it, well at least we still have the performances on youtube!

Oh yeah I saw some of Last Choir Standing on Saturday and thought it was great some really good choirs there!
I am really enjoying Canadian HDYSAPLM too!
And I am Hooked too Big Brother and there are some really good characters there this year!( seems like there is lots of bitchiness though)
Even though I am enjoying all these shows it still doesn't stop me missing IDA!

I think it's the contestants and the speculation that I miss the most. Oh, and the musical theatre aspect of this kind of show- the fact that the prize is a part in the West End (not a brief slot at number 1 and endless coverage from Heat magazine... ) I'm not really fussed by other reality TV shows other than Strictly, and I have to wait until October for that too! Boo!

You reckon we'll get a Christmas special this year? (I'm holding out for one... Lol!)

I have to watch Truely Scrumptious at least once a day, but that often leads to seeing it at least another 3 more times in succession - it is just so uplifting and compulsive watching (in my view), and then that often leads to me to looking at the other You Tubes IDA songs that are being highlighted next to it. I am an unashamed Jessie fan and have "everything crossed" for her as we await to hear news of her. Also really looking forward to seeing Oliver! on December 28th - even though wanted Jessie to win, I know Jodie will give a great, if different performance. I really do miss it on a Saturday night.

I'm still getting over the fact that Trully Scruptious was the women's name in the film.

But yeh I watch it about once week. It's my fave out of the whole show. I just knew she's be good at that kind of song, and with the olivers. I'm glad to see that it's the most watched out of the three. That means I am probably right in thinking that it was the best duet.

I also watched Getting to know you, a few times. It's growing on me. And singing in the rain, although it really was a bad vocal on some parts and not so good acting. But all in all it's enjoyable to watch.

What I don't understand are the spitefull comments, saying that people were crap. None of them were, they wouldn't be in the final if they were.

Exactly. That annoyed me too.

On another note, I'm still watching IDA vids My favourite performance has to be Sarah's Midnight Train to Georgia at the moment, I can't stop watching it

I love that tooo. Watched it
loads of times after I first saw it. I always knew Sarah had it in her.
One of the best performences of the whole show.

Love the growl!

Oh, it's such a shame Sarah left when she did, I wanted her to be in the final three. But no point dwelling on it, since it's over and everything!

Apart from MTTG, my other favourite at the moment is Things Aint What They Used To Be (and quite a few others!)

I love sisters are doing it for themselves! (Larkie on the chair..) ok enough about that lol!

I have so many favourites that it depends on the mood of the day but think Never Forget will always rank up there

Oh I just got what you meant

HEEE'S LEAVING. On that midnight train to georgia. I love it!

In terms of performence ability, Sarah had it all. If she was in for another part she would have gone much further. But I don't think that the public or the nasty panel had her down as Nancy.

I should have voted for her as well as Jessie But I thought with all of her supporters that she'd be ok. She was one of my faves. I liked all of her performences apart from Mr Bojangles.

Mr Bojangles was a mistake though. Allthough she sang it well. It made no sense, she didn't fit with the song. Why didn't she get a good song on big band night?

Anyway she is a fantastic singer. Midnight train to Georgia was my second fave out of all the shows put together. Loved the song also. And I loved Sara with olivers. It was soo sweet of them to pick her first. After the rowing task.

My first is The man that got away, but I don't like the song too much. I think ALW's face was the highlight.

Oh and Trully Scruptious, Third fave.

I also liked Siobhan's song bird in HDYSAPLM. So fourth fave.

Sarah did have it all! Mr Bojangles was a pooper of a song but she sang it beautifully!

I love ALL the group performances!

and Sarah with the Olivers is just lovely!

I do think a part of the reason Sarah went far too early is because everyone assumed she'd be safe. (though my phonebill was pretty big when it came in after IDA... !) She was the whole package, and I stand by my belief that she was the most talented person in the competition... & I really like Mr Bojangles! Though it was, as Julie so aptly put it, "a pooper of a song". I wasn't so big on conspiracy theories until that week... but...

You gotta love The Lark

And oooh, Sara! I LOVE 'Never Forget'! Definaely a series highlight!

I wasn't the biggest fan of the Lark but I do wonder whether if she had to sing-off against anyone else in the competition she would have stayed - and I do think she would've (with the exception of Jessie as well as Rachel).

Against Jodie it would've probably been the toughest decision for ALW - Sarah's performance may have gone against her that evening, but then again ALW did admit that her version was his mistake and I can't see anyone else matching Sarah in that sing-off (apart from Rachel, unluckily).

And I also think that Sarah would've been saved over Sam too, but if this was later in the competition I believe Sam would've triumphed over Sarah as I think it was from around this time that Sam began to gather momentum.

Regardless, I am in part grateful that Rachel & Sarah were in the sing-off as it provided the best performance of the series and saw the programme really heat up as a competition.

Sorry for the Lark conspiracy ramble.

And I too reeeaaallllly miss IDA - I'd even paint my face bright blue to have it back on

Maybe it's time to start a BBC show to find Jodie's understudy?!

Ohhh I totally agree!
MissAV (God bless her!) gives me hours of entertainment!
Ive got copies of a few of the episodes which I watch all the time! (Week 5 last night)
I also have ALL of Sam and Sarahs and a few of the others on on my iPod, and I listen to them en-route to work!
Ive never got into as reality show as much as I did with IDA!
