If you want to connect your TV's sound output to your A/V amp, then simply buy a scart to 2 phone audio lead (relatively cheep).

I got something like that with my amp, however as opposed to being a scart plug, it's a pass-though, so it plugs into the scart and has a socket on the back so another scart can also plug into it...

Will this work for surround sound or just stereo. Where did you get a pass through scart havent seen them around. Do you know a UK outlet?

It will work with stereo and surround sound, as the surrond sound signal is embedded within the stereo signal.

That's right, you will get Dolby Pro-Logic (subject to your receiver & program).

The pass-through came with my amp it's a sony model, only analogue though, although it does have 5.1 inputs from my DVD player.

Hope that helps...
