£250 for a stand and surround sound?

Ok, guys, my first time in any forum other than the games one

I've bought a Toshiba Regza 42" LCD, which I'm dead happy with, I set myself a budget of £1000 and got the TV for £750, I now want a decent stand, to hold a DVD player and maybe a freesat box in the future as well as a half decent surround sound system for watching movies and playing the ps3...am I going to be able to do it? or will i need to splash some more cash?

do yourself a favour and get this amp and it will last for years and take advantage of blu ray HDMI 1.3
