Good Afternoon All,

We have a customer who wishes to have a Blu Ray player in his living room and we have designed his system as such to send a composite video feed to his bedroom via his AV reciever.

The problem is after calling many Electronics' support lines for advice they cannot guarantee anything?

So the question is..

Is there a Blu Ray player that outputs 1080p via HDMI and 576i via composite at the same time.

And as a bonus could the same be possable with Component 9this will only be a 180i maximim anyway.

Thank you!

can you run HDMI cable to bedroom using an HDMI extender?

Hi Niall,

We have considered this option but there is only one HDMI output on the amp?

We would rather not resort to HDMI splitters as the cable run may exceed 15m anyway.

This is a doozie!

http://www.eu.onkyo.com/products/pro...8_5875718.html

this amp does 2 zones for audio/video and a 3rd for audio. really high spec HDMI 1.3, THx and all that with 2 HDMI outputs

more on page 119/120 of manual

HOWEVER how does that help you? Not a lot. HDMI extenders work up to 50 metres

splitter 15 metres enough ? Its a fair bit 15 metres and some success up to that range and beyond
