Sony TV Stopped Displaying at 1080p

My Sony TV has suddenly stopped displaying images at 1080p dropping back to 1080i when using my Sony DVD HD player, and only 576i for the PS3.

Have had no problem at all playing things at full res before. Anyone got any ideas?

It's the source which determines the resolution/interlacing, are you sure you haven't switched to component?

Please excuse my ignorance, but what does that mean? Are you referring to a setting on the TV?

Never mind bobcar, I went and delved deep into the setting for the PS3 and the DVD HD player and yes, somehow, mysteriously, their settings had been changed. Might be having a quiet word with the girlfriend a bit later

Many thanks for the tip though, was getting seriously peeved
