I need some help here

ive narrowed down my new tv search to 2 models - SAMSUNG LE52A557P2FXXU and PANASONIC TH-50PZ80B

ITs basicly LCD v Plasma. Panasonic seems better than samsung yet the samsung has PIP and the panny doesnt - so im confused.

any help would be good here

Why do you want PIP?, it's just a gimmick that almost no one ever uses.

While knowing nothing about either of those two models, I would go for the Panasonic as been by far the better brand.

Well ive got PIP in the tv i have atm, and while not alot of peopel use it, i find it quite helpful, if playing on the xbox 360 while waiting on a tv show to start (sometimes delays can kick in) - but this is the only reason i'd go for PIP again in the tv or having the CCTV on so its not taking away the main tv picture - and i can flick on an doff it

If PIP is such a dealbreaker, try and find a decent price for the Panasonic PZ800 50". Slightly older (but still superior) to the PZ80.

It has PIP but I'd question whether it's a huge benefit. Note that HDMI pictures cannot be configured fully by this feature, so it's debatable whether it will be much use in the future.

How could anyone not?

It's like saying I can get a BMW or a Kia for the same price, which should I buy?
