Hi to all you Darnellites. I'm relatively new to the bb forum and have just come across this thread. Thank goodness I'm now amongst fellow Darnell fans.
I have never really followed any of the previous big brother shows untill this year and started watching into the second week. Darnell has been the main reason that's had me captivated ever since. I'm now wishing at times that I hadn't watched the show at all as I'm so upset by the way Darnell is getting such a bad deal. Such hatred for him is appalling imo. I realise he doesn't always do himself any favours and isn't flawless and at times I'm shouting at my tv screen wishing he'd shut up. It seems to me the guy's just too honest for his own good, but that is mainly my reason to keep backing him to win. He's by far the best housemate in there. I had tears in my eyes earlier after reading the thread that Sarah has received a letter from her family knowing that Darnell is the only one who hasn't had a letter from any of his relatives. Why hasn't bb been able to get a letter to him from any of his family? As far as I know he has a grand mother who stays somewhere in Wales? and various other relatives in the uk. Are big brother trying to send the poor guy over the edge here? They are obviously aware there's now a lot of bad public opinion against him over Sarah, which was so blatantly edited to make him look like the bad guy yet again. Awww bb sucks dudes lol. Please tell me I'm not alone in my frustration and anger. I so want to see this show through to the end but dunno if my sanity is going to suffer with all this awful Darnell bashing. I so want to see him get to the final and hopefully win, but if this hatchet job continues I fear it may be too late now xx

Hey Lynn - great post. I agree about the bashing = makes me wonder if there is any compassion left.... I'm actually shocked by some FMs opinions. Its r5eally sad. Fortunately there are people outside of this forum who do support him. I don't know if he will win now - he does need to turn it ruond and jsut start trying to have fun. I think he has cabin fever badly and needs a task or something to keep him occupied. However I think (I hope) when he comes out he will be pleased with how far he has come and wikll learn a lot by this experience.

I also find it frustrating.
It seems like Darnell cant even open his mouth to speak without being criticised lately.

darnell's getting a rough ride from this forum at the moment, but just check hater's post history which is usually just regarding darnell, which shows some fms are scared he might win.

many fms here are absolute cretins, trying to twist things for their own agenda. i'd rather have darnell win, showing all of his personality, than rachel pussyfooting around everyone.

don't worry about the haters though. i was a brian supporter last year and he got bad posts against him towards the end too, and that didn't end too badly did it .

Ahh George - well said. Wanted to say thank you for speaking out on the other thread where you said check the posters history. I fell into the trap big time of engaging with said person in another thread. Don't mind the debate but this particular person was not even reading what I said lol..... walked away with a load of ????????????? in the end......I just want the D-boy to show us the happy side again.....

watch out for the rampers too.

i'm not going to try not to bother with the hate threads now though, it's the casual viewers which have more of an effect on results.

Sorry I went missing for a day but I got totally fed up with all the Darnell hate out there.....and agree he has only to say one word and the critics start without even hearing what he has got to say! Felt all grenaded out!

It has really been very difficullt because they are quick to post the negative and never to report the positive!

What has made me very angry tho' is that BB gave sara a letter from her sister but did not give Darnell a letter from his family.....that must have hurt so much and Bb should be ashamed of themselves (but won't be) Feel like ringing his grandmother and telling her to stick a rocket under BB!!

Darnell and Sara made up today so they should show that tomorrow night.

Also it showed Darnell does stand up to Rex.

Tought the ending was really funny with darnell laughinly calling Rex a puppet master.......whole conversation had rex nailed, so to speak! Darnell and sara sitting next to each other at the moment and everything seems cool!

Do think that BB are going to ensure that rex, darnell and kat get bad edits to ensure they go before the final week!

Hi guys I've only just seen the last ten minutes of tonight h/l show because I've been out. Have recorded it but am scared of watching it all after the past couple of nights Darnell has certainly become the hate figure out on the main forum, it's hard work, but then I see it's mostly the same people starting and contributing to the threads over and over again. Two of them who are the most vocal have even admitted that they don't even watch the show anymore anyway so am not going to get too bothered about it.

It is the same few people who start the threads and they appear to be cute enough to not be so malicious as to invoke a ban. I try and ignore so as to not bump up the thread unless there are lots of people posting against the poster!

H/Ls are a bit of a mix....good for last 2/3rds.
Rex seems to be the main figure of hate out there at the moment!

Not bad hl,s tonight and Darnell has opologised, which he needed to do.Sara is all over him again like a rash. What gives there.She is not like that with Mo.How funny was Mikey and the ball. "What the fvk was that."haha.Darnell making faces at Liza hilarious.Lets hope the paranoia stays at bay and the wasps sting the bum off Lisa.

Last night's H/Ls show wasn't too bad for Darnell but, if they had shown just 10 mins of his conversation with Rex and Mo all three would be in the final now. I would have liked them to have shown it not just because I'm a Darnell fan but, because it was so interesting.

Also, there was one part which would remind people how bad his eyesight is. He often helps out a friend in his supermarket but, can't use the till because of his poor vision. I still believe that BB were well out of order in the shopping task for not allowing him some sort of help. We quite rightly hear/see a lot of allowances made for Mikey's disability but, very little is made for Darnell's.

He is only one, who has not a letter from home.he need to watch Kat but is avoiding an argument with her so far.I think he is right about her.She is very clever and pretends to be dumb. The incy wincy spider thing is no naff and fake.

think he may be up tomorrow in a 3 way split between Kat, Lisa and darnell!
Kat is such a player...goes off into a tantrum like a 5 year old at a moments notice! Amazing scene of her sitting in her bed clutching a cookie jar and a letter...talk about actress! Needs a spanked bottom IMHO

Agree with you about darnell being the only one not to have received a letter from home! Think BB should be ashamed of themselves. If they do have, as they profess to have, a resident psychologist, then surely the psychologist would have advised them to let darnell have some form of contact from home esp, after giving Sara her letter.

wasn't such a bad edit tonight i feel. the ipod thing was the only bad point which the haters have jumped upon of course. everything else was decent though.

i'm glad with today's events though. he definately knows what kat's up to now, and it's just made me like him twice as much that he didn't shy away from telling her. you could tell that he was a little bothered of seeing kat getting ready to cheer as she thought her name would be called. one of my fave darnell moments for me.
