I agree Laura- seems especially cruel that BB went to the trouble to get Sarah's letter from her sister that they could have made an extra effort to get one from Darnell's Mom knowing how much it would have meant to him

He's the only one who hasn't received a letter from home now, it would be a good time if BB have got hold of his family. I'd say he could go with a few words from his mum right now

As we approach the final week and start voting for our winner, we need to rally round our guy. Time to evidence our support with our collective phone votes. Our guy may not win because Sara has succeeded in bringing him down, but we MUST not give up without a fight.

I am prepared to vote like I've NEVER done before for any BB contestant. I feel so sorry for Darnell and wish I could give him even double that blasted £100K winning prize myself.

I know he doesn't want our pity, but I just can't help feeling for him. He is misunderstood and cares too much. And that has been his downfall.

So, guys, let's get ready to vote en masse. Let's get him to a reasonable position even if he doesn't win.

I'd hate for him to be the one to leave next Tuesday or is it Wednesday? I'd also hate for him to be the first one out on that final day.

Darnell has made BB9 for me and all of us his fans. We must acknowledge this by ensuring he gets a good position.

Well everyone - it looks like Darnell may be walking. He has been discussing it and has been in the diary room for some while. The other housemates are speculating as to whether he has gone.

Yes, I've been monitoring the situation. I don't want Darnell to walk but maybe walking will be best for him. Specially if staying will result in him being continuously demonised and also if it could potentially result in him having a complete breakdown.

I'll support him whatever he chooses to do.

Oh another thing: I was in the WHATM thread a few minutes ago, apparently Darnell allegedly called Sara a 'slut' again. So people are speculating if he's being removed as opposed to him walking.

he's been in there now for nearly 2 hours! i really hope he hasn't walked. this is terrible.

It is, but BB will do their best to talk him out of it, being so close to the final.

He must be really upset though to have asked to leave so close to the endgame

Sara really has done a number this last few weeks. She's played Darnell and it seems to have worked.

I don't like you use cliche's but she is definately vile. Calculating and conniving.

Unfortunately it may now be too late, the poison has worked it's way halfway through the system.
