LOL, no. The B sides to their singles were really heavy, and their albums more so. This led me to explore heavier tunes. Check out some of their less popular tunes. The riffs are much more rock than glam

Not ventured to an appreciation thread before, but I was that Darnell was fifth. He was in my top 3, but lost a bit because of last week's fiasco, but I have always found him intriguing, complex and shakeable (ie I want to give him a good shake)! He's a very complex guy but I like him - I just he would like himself!

He was definitely the most complex character in there.

That's the thing though. They did soft, some heavy, but mainly poppy glam songs, yet scratch the underside and they were really heavy compared to Rubettes, Mud, Slade, etc.
