Loved T-Rex!

I had a poster of Marc Bolan in my closet as my Mum wouldn't let me hang it in my room because it had snakes instead of hair. I wonder to this day whether that influenced my love of horror films and books.

Probably the first gay song ever, really spoke to me when I was young.
Did it?

This is the first song I ever remember singing - can see myself at a bus stop by a wall when little compulsively repeating chorus. Surreal you put it on - haven't heard it since. Thx

Morning fellow Darnellites!

Missing our guy already

Hope we get to see, read and hear about him very soon. Would really appreciate if people in the know about his progress henceforth kindly update us on here on a regular basis please. Thanks

Our guy did well last night, didn't he. So glad he got a good reception and finally saw and admitted he is loved by many.

GOOD DAY TO ALL DARNELLITES!!!!!!!:D (she said loudly knowing certain Darnellites have a hangover judging from all the empties)

Sorry!!!!!couldn't join in the festivities of Darnells excellent final.....I would be a liar if I said I didn't want him to win but you know what, he won....Darnell always said he wanted to be in the final and wanted to be loved....well he certainly got that and more.

Pleased Rachel won.... it meant that BBlock won...Luke was bitter to the lastloved that moment..it was classic

Darnell and Darnellites we did ourselves proud

HAIR OF THE DOG ANYONE!!!!!

I hope he had a great night, lovely interview very dignified. Anyone see T4 this morning Beefy Bex and stringy Luke plus Kenny Stu are on dissing Rachel. Nothing worse than a bad loser.Who else was shocked with Rex coming 4th.There was nothing between the 5 of them. Davina went ott on big mouth last night. She was not happy about Rachel winning. hahah did Darnell have a pants to change into out of the skirt and what did he do with the horse.

Thought you might like to read what Darnell's mum told Ipswich's local newspaper last night after the final. The report can be found under 'Mum's pride at BB Darnell' listed towards the bottom of the page of the above link.

Darnell's pic takes up almost the whole front page of today's issue. You can see a small version of this on the home page of this site.

Brought a tear to my eye

Thanks for the newspaper links

If you take the females out the equation .. I think for me I am really hoping his friendship with Rex n' Mo stays true, loved seeing the 3 of them grow close and bounce off each other with their banter.

I think one of the most touching moments for me from last night was when he was leaving he gave Rex a kiss on the cheek ... love the fact that when he cares for someone he isn't afraid to display his affection for them

I have no doubt that they will be great mates and will get treated like royalty at Rex's restaurant.

I know. What does he look like. We may see a much smarter Darnell on BBLB tomorrow afternoon.

I too hope that Vanessa is genuine - time will tell I suppose.

Hi Muttley - I quickly got over my disappointment at his 5th place when I saw his joy at his reception.

Thanks for your links, zebra. I live in Ipswich and if I hear anything about Darnell, rest assured I'll pass it on.

I, too hope Darnell, Rex and Mo stay close on the outside.
Something tells me they will. As Mo said, they really were like the Three Musketeers
