Recommendation required for +RW Discs

Just new to the DVD Recorder world! Can anyone recommend a
+RW Disc. Can anyone explain what it means when the pack shows x4 x8 x16

x4 x8 x16 means the speed you can burn the discs with a computer.

If you plan to use the discs in a DVD recorder make sure you buy the right format as some use DVD-RW, some DVD+RW and some can use both.

I use Panasonic and TDK RW discs with no problems.

buy a small pack of any make FIRST to make sure your machine likes those discs
