Jon is on Ready Steady Cook next wednedsay with his brother Phil. There is a nice little article in the TV Times .....Jon mentions tv and radio work in the future. He is keeping the media as a holiday job!

Funny that, I thought to myself after BB3 that Jade and Alex would be great on there together.

I wonder what Jon will cook - nothing involving mushrooms as his hatred of them is legendary.

He also claims to make "the best Christmas dinner in the world".

Any guesses as to what he'll be cooking???

From the article..."I cut a pork fillet in two. One half was on a bed of roasted peppers, tomatos and onions, glazed in some shimmery stuff. That was pan fried with orange zest and coriander and stuff. The second half was sliced thinly with mustard mash. Phil however, cooked salmon - it looked awful."

I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.

Do you mean that the desperate times are that RSC is going down the pan? and the desperate measures are that they have to recruit stars like Jon to keep it going. That explains why the likes of Cameron will never be invited on there I suppose.

But it's funny how Jon seems to be the only one getting any TV work in spite of the fact he dosen't really want it, or go specifically looking for it.

You don't really believe that, do you?

For someone that doesn't want it, he has a strange way of showing it!

*Sigh* Jon does these TV 'bits' in his spare time, he went back to his job just like he said.
What I'm saying is that unlike 'other' contestants he does not go out specifically looking for this kind of thing but nonetheless he seems to get them.

Be honest now if someone came waving a socking great fat cheque at you for a few extra hours here and there would you say no? I don't think I would, in fact I know I would say yes.

Well I'm not particularly a Jon fan but if the chance to do something like this comes along and he wants to, why not?

*sigh* do you believe all the hype?

wish I had so much spare time then! TV doesn't take 2 minutes to make!

I'll leave you in your little world now.

They share the bond (shackle?) of reality tv so perhaps, yes, Antony.
