Surely I can't be the only one looking forward to seeing Phil on the telly again - I thought he was brilliant

*sigh* do you believe all the hype?

wish I had so much spare time then! TV doesn't take 2 minutes to make!

I'll leave you in your little world now.
”

If you are still here read the article in TV times, it clearly states he is back at work full time.

They are both great. The Tickle Twins - a kind of grown-uo version of the Chuckle Brothers, only with with brains. And humour. And personality.

If you believe everything you read then I applaude you. I sometimes wish I wasn't so cynical, but then I've been burnt too often.

On a seperate point - are you going to be applying to go on his Sky show? - I see they are advertising for folk.

Nah, but Shameron should give it a shot - it's his best chance for getting on the telly

Well I could tell you a stroy of a boilogical weapon I once indvertently made but I won't bore you with it.

I realise most stories should be taken with a pinch of salt but TV times? it's hardly in the same league as the sun or the daily star.
But whatever, who cares, the good thing is Jon is back on screen!

BIG BOTHER! Ready, Steady, Cook, Wed-Fri, BBC2

On Wednesday 3rd September Jon and twin Phil go head-to-head on Ready, Steady, Cook, which ’ returns for its 10th series.

It seems the pair are perfect contestants. ‘There’s a rivalry between us,’ says Jon, 29. ‘Especially over who’s the best cook, I don’t do a lot of cooking, but I consider myself to be more able than Phil! As soon as we got the opportunity, we jumped at it.’

Chefs Tony Tobin and Antony Worrall Thompson help prepare dishes to decide who’s tops in the kitchen. ‘In the Big Brother house, Nush nominated me because I didn’t do any cooking, but we all had our jobs - I worked in the garden,’ says Jon.

Tony Tobin was recruited to help Jon prepare his chosen foods, while Phil landed Antony. ‘Tony and I cut a pork fillet in two,’ says Jon. ‘One half was on a bed of roasted peppers, tomatoes and onions, glazed in some shimmery stuff. That was pan-fried with orange zest and coriander and stuff. The second half was sliced thinly with mustard mash. Phil, however, cooked salmon - it looked awful!’

I’m sitting back at my desk full-time now.’ he says. I had two weeks of madness after leaving the house, but now I’m getting back to normal.

‘I expect I will continue to dabble with TV, but it will be done during holidays from work. There are various things in the pipeline, like some radio and a science show called Brainiac on Sky One in the autumn. l will only do guest spots though, not reporting - I still get nervous in front of the camera. I am keeping my eyes open and having fun. ‘Big Brother was absolutely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I was so pleased to be given that opportunity. I have not yet come across a downside.’
