It could be even bigger than most realise as it's been long rumoured that Karren is ultimately looking for a successor when she steps down from the role. It's a role that's made her into a millionaire and I'm wondering if she's seeing Claire as that successor.

Depends if the police investigation into fraud & corruption in football has nothing on Brady & Sullivan.

Er, what depends on that?

If she's got a contract she's got a contract.

Unless it was awarded as a result of fraud and corruption she has that no matter what happens to Sullivan and Brady

Actually the club doesn't have any corruption charges hanging over them and the Sullivan stuff is a private, rather than club issue. It's highly probable that Claire has been given club shares in addition to the salary and given that the club are favourites to return to the Prem next season it's a very good opportunity for her. Karren Brady certainly made a lot of money out of the role
