Will the Iphone launch on any ofther UK networks.. or just O2?

Nope, they have a multi year contract with o2 in the UK.

Have they ever actually said what that term is, have read different reports by analysts stating 2, 5 & 10 years.

Now that Apple have accepted the subsidy route, i would expect they will want to break the exculsive contract ASAP and get it out to the mass appeal.
