I made that mistake when taking my last treat at the end of the recorded message it said something along the lines of

If Sports interest you press 1

If Music interests you press 1

I didn't realise I was setting myself up for text hell

I tried to change things by logging into bluebook , via 02.co.uk and choosing my blueroom then deselecting all but 1 , I then choose sports and just "others" filled in my details and now I get a text every couple of months which I can handle

The STOP thing is for premium rate messages. As these are free you will need to use blueroom or phone them up.

You need to ring O2 on 2220 (free from your mobile) and follow the prompts this will stop the texts, it may take up to 28 days to work.
