I usually try foreign foods when abroad at some point, loved the food in Turkey, been there a few times.

I got back from Alicante last week, i always wanted to try Paella so had a plate full over there and was very disappointed, not much taste to it and was so oily. From what i heard they cook it differently in the north of spain to the south so maybe the other way of cooking it is nicer.

Nothing wrong with hunting and target shooting or protecting yourself from wild animals. I think you've been watching too many movies. Guns have beneficial uses.

Best food I've eaten abroad has been in Asia- always really fresh with those fantastic zingy flavours- lime, coconut, lemongrass, ginger. We ate Laab Gai-minced chicken with mint and lime juice and peanuts plus loads more stuff) and green papaya salad in a little cafe only lit by flickering fairylights by the edge of the Mekong- heavenly apart from the mossies!

The street food is alwayd really good too- the general advice is to pick the busy ones as they will be fresh. Chicken satay skewers, little fish cakes, noodle soup, fresh pineapple. Fabulous.
