Hi,

Basically I contaced o2 after I accidentally deleted a very very important number. They told me the only way I could get this number was if I pay £10.

I am a pay and go customer and I am a bit pissed off that I would have to pay £10 for o2 to give me a number that I have contacted on my credit via their service on numerous occasions.

I told them I would not pay and I am considering changing networks because of there consistent mistakes with my account but the call handler acted rudely and quickly hung up.

Can anyone advice me on how to go about getting this number without paying??

If I have to pay I have to pay, however I don't think I should seeing as I use my own money to communicate with this person.

it can't be "very very important" if you won't pay the £10 asked of you.

Yes it is an important number.
I know o2 can give numbers out for free.
I am so skint and can't afford £10 to get a number.
and actually I won't pay for the number, why should I?
If I can't get it I will leave o2.
They won't care but I will feel better.

I hope I can.
Tomorrow I'm will call (as they dont have a 24.7 call center as I previously critisesed)
I'm gonna ask if they can give me the number or I leave o2 simple as that.

P.S MY POST ARE MESSING UP??

Didn't you start a thread about this recently? No-one could understand why you expect O2 to pay for your mistake.

Edit: Found it

How about we actually try to show sympathy to the OP for a change? £10 to find a number? Are o2 having a laugh?? And to those who say it was the OP's fault, I'm guessing you've never forgotten or lost anything in your lives?
