Buying a Contract Phone
I've only ever had PAYG phones and think its time I got a contract phone. Now, I really would like a nice 'trendy' phone as i've had my current phone for almost 4 years.
Basically, I don't know how contract phones work. I've seen the Combi Plan on T-Mobile which states that you pay something like £30 a month and get 300 minutes free calls and unlimited texts. This sounds pretty straightforward but I don't want to get a phone bill every month for 'extra' costs. What about 'Internet' phones. If you use the internet on your phone do you have to pay a certain amount per minute or something. Could somebody take the time to tell a donut like me how these things work. |

For internet on phones you will be charged(how much depends on your network) I know T-Mobile do a flat rate of £7.50 a month, not sure about other networks. You would obviously only be charged if you accessed the internet(unless you opted for a monthly charge)
Other things I can think of that may be or will be on top of the £30 is 0845/0800 etc, international calls/sms also maybe on the combi plan picture messages AJxx |

Combi gives you 700 mins and unlimited texts (and unlimuted internet on certain handsets.) for £30/month and a guarantee that no other network will ever be able to give you more x-net minutes at that price point.
