I got text today from T-Mobile saying you can opt in to get free rewards every time you top up from £5 and over, the more you top up in one go the better the reward , so i opt in as you still get your top up friday or Strech aswell.

Thing is a computer selects which reward you get out of Free Calls, Free Texts or Free Web and Walk and when you top up they text you to say which you have been given, be better if you could pick really but still cool. Id rather have the Free Web and Walk myself , but texts good aswell but im not botred about the call one as i dont ring anyone.

Anyone Topped up £5 or £10 that is on this yet?, and how much Texts , free calls or free wap do you get for the £5 top up and the £10 top up?.

haha

Top stuff. 10 days seems like a very nice offer! I thought it would only be for 24 or 48 hours or something!

I topped up £5 today, i already had enough credit but wanted to try it out, i got 5 Free UK texts which is not great as my Texts cost only 3p aswell.

Was hoping i would have got 5 days free web and walk, the 10 days web and walk is the best thing to get, if your lucky to get that.

Weird, just topped up another £10. This time I got 5 texts but only to T-Mobile numbers! Looks like the more you top-up the worse the rewards get.

I think the rewards are done in certain bands according to how much you top up, then selected at random.

Off their site:

The legal stuff you need to know

* As a T-Mobile pay as you go customer you can get a little extra every time you top up - just opt in by texting GOODIES to 441 before 30 September 2008. We'll send you a text to let you know that your opt-in has worked.
* You can get these rewards as well as Top Up Friday or Top Up & Stretch.
* You'll get a free T-Mobile reward every time you top up, no matter how much you top up or how you do it - remember the minimum top-up is £5.
* Although you'll always get a free reward, the more you top up at a time the better your reward will be. The exact reward that you get is then determined at random by our super computer and we'll let you know by text.
* All our little extras will be made up of T-Mobile services.
* We reserve the right to close opt-ins at any time and we'll give you reasonable notice if we decide to bring these rewards to an end.
* You can opt out of receiving little extras rewards at any time by texting STOP GOODIES to 441.

I was unhappy when they suddenly took away the free evening and weekend texts when you topped up £10 and didn't really bring out anything to match it. However, they are at least improving it steadily for the consumer with small things like these rewards. There is also the current offer of £5 when you register to 'My T-Mobile' during July.

Amazing that people are moaning about getting a free bonus.

I'm not moaning about getting a free bonus. What I'm saying is that the promotion doesn't say anything about the reward you get being random. It says that the more you top up at anytime the better the reward, chosen by the computer.
So why when one person tops up £5 do they get 5 texts, when another person tops up £10 they get 5 texts but only to T-Mobile numbers and when a second person tops up £10 they get 10 texts. Another person gets 10 days web'n'walk.
If T-Mobile are running a promotion then they need to be explicit about the reward because otherwise they are running a "lucky dip" which it is subject to regulation by the ASA and must show the full terms and conditions and details of "prizes".
Compare this promotion with O2 Treats, where you can hear a list of what's available and either have one picked for you or select the one you want.

I love getting free rewards but they could be better, the 10 day web and walk is great reward to get as id love getting that all time for topping up, but the other rewards not great though but better than nothing . you should get more free texts for a £10 top up like at least 50.

Anyone got free web and walk by topping up £5?

Flippin Eck, T-Mobile are abit tight with the rewards, i put £5 on last week and got 5 free texts, and i put £10 on today and still only got 5 free texts, thought i would of at least got 10 . Thought it was the more you top up the better the reward .

Think the chances of getting the 10 days web and walk free are very slim.
With it being pot luck so they say , you might aswell top up £5 in one shop and £5 in another shop if you want to top up £10 then you have at least 2 chances of getting better reward

You've put £15 on in the past week. For that you could have had 350 minutes and 650 texts for the month from T-Mobile. If you're on the Everyone tariff that would have cost you £117.50.

You also get free £10.00 credit to use all weekend if you top up £10 or more in the week.

I only use my phones for people to contact me and to check my emails at work since I'm not allowed to use work computers for personal stuff, so free texts and minutes is pretty useless to me.

The five day web and walk pass is £2.50 for unlimited internet during those five days and that's all I use it for.
