Change from O2 on The Carphonewarehouse to O2?

I have an O2 contract through The Carphonewarehouse which is due for an upgrade. They let me down with the new iphone and have messed me about in the past. Is it possilble for me to keep the same number but in future go directly to O2 (cutting out the middleman so to speak) Guess this is a strange question but i,m getting fed up of the Carphonewarehouse

I don't think this is possible without first porting to a different network and then porting back to an O2 direct one.

You may be able to do it in an O2 Store - not sure tho....

May involve taking out a new contract and porting your number so you're gonna need a PAC code from Carphone Warehouse (good look with that and I await your post!!!)

It may work in a CPW store too as all new connections are with O2 directly.

Try it...

Moving would certainly make the bill easier to understand if nothing else!

My first Three contract came via P4U. At upgrade time I received calls from P4U and Three. I took the upgrade from Three.

I say this because I think your contract is actually with 02 and you should be able to upgrade through them. And keep your number if you want to.

Best thing to do is phone O2 upgrades explain the situation and see what they say. Let us know what advice they give you.

I did it. Get your PAC code from CPW and then just give it to o2 direct wither over the net or on the phone. Easy, once you have managed to get the PAC code from CPW

It depends. For example I am on Orange, and originally got my handset & contract through The Link. However, claiming my cashback redemptions through The Link, has been the only thing I have had to do with them. My upgrade was dealt with solely through Orange.

However, you are obviously with a different supplier and a different network, but your contract is with O2, not CPW.

On a different note, if you find a better contract on O2 through, say Dial A Phone or any other site, then you will not be able to carry your number over.

But what happens to the contract,direct/debit with the carphonewarehouse? Just ends as if you was with, say Orange.
