I have a Sky HD and PS3 (latest firmware) connected to a Sony KDL40D3500. HDMI control doesn't work, and the TV cannot see the devices when I seach for them under the HDMI menu. I've tried several good quality HDMI cables.

Is the anything else I can try?

Has anyone got HDMI control working on a KDL40D3500?

If you remove the hdmi from the sky box you should find the control function will work fine. This is a known issue with the 1st gen skyHD boxes applying voltage via pin 13 of the hdmi cable, I`m unsure if sky can resolve this via software however pushing back pin 13 on the cable to prevent connection solves the problem.

Thanks for the tip about the Sky HD box/pin but I tried disconnecting the Sky box and the TV still doesn't see the PS3....
