Check out Orange Racoon 35. It offers unlimited landline calls. Well used to, not sure about now.

Is it PAYG or contract? What is her monthly budget?

thing is .. she has a PAYG herself at the moment and is a relatively infrequent user - 20 quid a quarter realistically.

her landline bills, due to my sister living with her, are around 50-60 quid a quarter.

so in a perfect world, no more than 20 quid a month if at all do-able.

With vodafone PAYG you can call any network for 30p for an hour at evenings and weekends, so depending on if she makes her calls off peak, she could make in excess of 60 x 1 hour calls for £20 a month

that's not a bad price.

i normally ring most days and natter for half an hour or more (i'm a nice son ), but that's always after 6pm.

guess if i could rope my sister in on it as well and get a 2-phone deal it might work out cheaper still

actually i'm not even sure a 2-phone deal is possible - it would be 2 seperate contracts.
