Desperately seeking sheet music of Murray Gold's DW themes....

There are so many fabulous pieces of music in series 1-4, I wonder if there are any plans to bring out a sheet music book so we muso DW fans can play it for ourselves? Anyone know if this is a possibility?

The BBC are really missing a trick if they don't do this. .Murray Gold's work is a musician's dream.

I've found this. Scores from every episode in Midi Format

Series 1 - 3: http://www.freeweb s.com/dwmidi/
Series 4: http://www.freeweb s.com/dwmidi2/

no space obviously, but DS blocks the urls for some reason.

You can easily download programs that convert midi files to Sheet music

Thank you thank you thank you! I can't tell you how grateful I am. I'll download them tonight and have a good old wallow at the weekend! Have you played them yourself?...how do they sound?

Special thanks for the midi-to-sheet-music converter; I've been wanting to get one of those for a while, so I really appreciate it.

Again, huge thanks...you've made my day. I've dreamed of playing and singing the Doomsday theme ever since I first heard it! Sheer bliss....

Oh, me too! I've got a bit of a Doomsday-vocal-type singing voice, and I've been thinking about trying to record a cover version for a while now......now, thanks to you, I might actually do it!

Let me know how you get on playing the Ood song...what a beautiful piece of music that is.

I just discovered a collection of Murray Gold's DW music at musicroom.com. Now don't get too excited!!....it's a brass band arrangement (and it costs £40!)....So it's not piano/guitar and there are no chords or anything. But at least it's a sign that someone is arranging this music for Joe Public to play. It seems to be a medley of pieces, including Boe and The Doctor Forever....

Fingers crossed there might be more to come, and maybe someday we musos will get our ultimate dream of a DW sheet music compilation....oh, what wouldn't I give!

Just imagine how exciting it would be for kids to play this material in school orchestras etc.
