Do you trust Ken Bates at his word ? The man is 99% of the reason why people hate Leeds United.
I think Bates has done a good job at Leeds. The squad is, by far, the best in the division. The finances seem to be in reasonable shape.

I'd rather have a tight fisted b'stard in charge than a financially illiterate Walter Mitty type like Ridsdale.

Even the statement

The squad is the best in the division.
would have been taking the p*ss...

I actually believe we have the best squad of players in League 1.

We should be many points clear at the top of the table.

A point from the league leaders who we supposidely played off the park in second half and 3 points today.

A very nice return.

Grayson has also said he only wants 1 GK plus 1 defender over January so he must like what he see in the team!

We don't but we now have a proper manager so what do we know.

Dream on my friend!

Delph and Beckford are the only players I'd have in the Leicester squad, and I'm not sure I'd play either given how effective King / Davies / Oakley and Fryatt / Howard are for us.

You had the better of the 2nd half but I wouldn't say you played us off the park. A draw was a just result for both sides.

Good win @ Stockport though...

Delph value might have gone up even more after that 40yard screamer today.

Not going to happen, no third division player is worth 9 million. But even if he was unless all the money went into strengthening the squad, how is the club going to convince the fans they are serious about moving back up the divisions, ultimately back to the top flight which is where Leeds should be playing.

As we look forward to our away trip to Hereford let's remember some of our heritage.

The Great, and I don't use the term lightly, John Charles has been voted into the best Juventus team of all time. He has also been voted the best ever foreign import into Serie A. He was also a great man.

http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/86/it...l-time-best-xi

In 1959, he was named twice in the world team of year as centre half AND centre forward

I see we've signed Lee Trundle on loan. Another striker!!

We need some defenders & a goalkeeper!

Still there is time for us to sign someone else.

Yes , but both Sheffield clubs are "small "
Wednesday is certainly a club of comparable size to Leeds and Sheff U have had bigger gates than yourselves for quite a few years, so to call the Sheffield clubs small is downgrading yourselves a bit is it not ?

lost again! I think the best we can hope for now is the play offs!

There must be some defenders available cos we can't keep conceding goals like we are.

Lat season we had a higher attendance than Anyone outside the premiership , so that knocks that one on the head dont it
Gillingham at Home 38,000 tell me outside the top 8 in prem who would get that

You guys remember this radio 1 Moyle song he played loud on Radio 1.

We went on to win 5 games in a row.

Lets play this again in dressing room!

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=q7FXOg...next=1&index=8

7 points off a playoff place - Grayson now makin major signings especially with Lee Trundle!

Forget the top 2 but we are right in for a shout for a playoff position!

Very good win today against a very tricky side.

Trundle already scoring goals and Delph still scoring screamers. Casper Angrekan and the new boy Naylor were not impressive today which is a worry. Lets hope its them just getting to know each other and things will improve.

All in all, a much needed win, but no point if we then lose next week, We need consistency and a good run to get us back up there. Its not too late for the play offs at the very least.

Marching On Together!!!
