Amazing noise when Leeds scored as well.
Thanks for your generous comments. It would be very easy to gloat.

Villa are doing it the way we should have. Homegrown players, good foreign professionals and buying young English talent to fill the gaps.

Beckford was awful just when we needed him.
He's a loose cannon IMO. He looked like he was going to lose it on several occasions and he interfered when he didn't need to.

I have doubts about whether he'll still be there next season. He was the biggest let-down over the two legs.

Hopefully Master bates will recognize the great job that Grayson as done in getting Leeds into a play off position , and maybe if he had arrived earlier in the season an automatic spot may have been possible

Bechio gave a good account but Delph and Beckford didn't seem interested , Leeds played without width , straight down the middle , the only time they did push wide and Ben Parker went on a run it paid off

To be fair on Leeds how many teams would have 30,000 people turning up to a League 1 game, shows how loyal their support is. I do like the fact we go for homegrown and young english talent, at the same time I do wish we look a bit further afield to try and break into the top 4. I think Leeds have spent too long in League 1 now.

Exactly. That is why Snodgrass will be essential next season.

It's never dull being a Leeds fan is it?

Didnt see it myself but Grayson said today there will be no fire sale, and nobody will be leaving unless they want to.
or we get silly money offers

Unfortunately I haven't managed to see many games this season but Snodgrass was stand-out fantastic in the pklay-offs imo.
He HAS to stay!

Sad to see Leeds not go through, I mean when teams like Millwall can't even half fill their ground in a massive game its a poor show.

I think a team should not be allowed to be in the top flight if it can't get a decent crowd, Football is a game for fans at the end of the day.

Lets cut to the chase

Leeds are absoluteley bloody terrible.

They have Grade One Premier League fans but they are following a League One team.

Simple as that.

I would not argue with your comments but I would with your timing. Many Leeds fans including myself are hurting at the moment. I am first and foremost a football supporter of over 40 years, mostly standing. I know that there are occasions when a word of sympathy is more appropriate.

Furthermore, you undermine your argument by actually bothering to air your views on a League One team that are "absoluteley(sic) bloody terrible." Have you done the same for say Cheltenham or Northampton? Whether you like it or not Leeds United cast a long shadow even down to you choosing a user name in honour of one of our ex-players.

I think his user name is more in keeping with and the impact he had , for 5 years AFTER he had left Leeds ( MUFC)

I think although he helped Leeds to the title in 1992 , he did a tad better at his next club and helped Man U win a title or two that were long overdue

Cant realy argue with Cantona7 tbh, he is right, we are a 3rd division club atm, and untill we get a Midfield who knows how to tackle and get past teams like Millwall/Doncaster we will stay one who whilst not having any name playerswork well as a Team
Sorry to say this but its true, will still follow us where ever we are as i have done since 72

When we were releagted (from the prem that is) i said we would Not get promoted via play offs we Dont do play offs

Leeds United chairman Ken Bates has issued a defiant rallying call by declaring: "Our title winning season starts now!"
Let's hope so.

dont think the L2 will be as strong tho

Here is one reason why all netuals shouls celebrate today
this cxunt Liddle is a very nasty piece of work

"I hugely enjoyed Millwall’s defeat of Leeds United in the playoff semi-finals, but only after the final whistle had blown at the end of the second leg. Until then it had been torture, quite unbearable; an exponentially fraught affair because on this occasion I disliked the opposition with almost as much fervour as I like Millwall, and the thought that Leeds might go through made me feel physically ill.

If there’s any consolation it’s that the final today is against Scunthorpe United, against whom I have no animus whatsoever, so the game should be a less unpleasant experience, theoretically. But already I’m beginning to think nasty things about people from northwest Lincolnshire, these sad folk marooned in a sort of dank no man’s land, neither true north nor true midlands, on their desolate, flat, flood plains with their interminable procession of vast belching power stations, fizzing and stinking chemical plants and ferociously polluted river. A town whose name so offends that internet websites and search engines delete certain letters and add asterisks instead. We can’t allow them to be promoted to the Championship, can we?"

Well piddles

Beckford on transfer list

Reallly sad news but surely not unexpected.
I suppose it was too much to hope that he'd want to waste what could be a great football career in League 1.

However without him we could easily end up going down even further
