Bolton interested in Beckford according to BBC gossip. Bad news if it is true.

If Bates sells Beckford now then there will be mass protestation(?). There's not a great deal of doubt that we will not carry on winning like we have been under Larry so this will further fuel the hatred.

I can see this being the straw that breaks Leeds fan's tolerance of old Ken. He isn't oblivious to this but how much does he want the money?. Time will tell.

At 2.5 Million, they can Fxuck right off, and besides who would want to play for a club that has Half empty ground Every week unless they are playing either of the Manchester clubs

Goes without saying but still, If I was Jermaine Beckford (not a Leeds fan) and was given the choice of Bolton/Leeds I would choose Bolton with no need for a second thought.

Beckford can be persuaded to want to leave for an "undisclosed fee" by Bates.

I fear the worst.

I cannot see any team stopping Leeds this season. And as for the Beckford rumours - Wise up nearly 4 thousand fans jumped on him away at Walsall -- You think he want's to leave to join a mickey mouse team like that with zero supporters. I don't think so

Grayson and Bates have shut the door tight on any more sales after Delph left for Villa- all Speculation now - no-one else is leaving!

Went to the match yesterday (sat behind the net in the kop) and i've gotta say, without doubt that was our best performance in years, we dominated the match, gave them hardly any space or time on the ball, hit post, crossbar, post, crossbar, we should of won by 8 or 9 to be honest.

and as per usual we were in good voice, can't remember one time we were quite for more then 2 minutes.

I'm going tonight and don't know quite what to expect. It's important to keep the same settled side but not to get key players knackered.

Not for a long time, the last one was George Graham, have I had such faith in the team manager to make the right call. We've got a gem in Larry.

Magnificent evening. Played well, great atmosphere and deserved winners. There is a buzz about the place that hasn't been there for years.

Snodgrass was awesome. A legend in the making.

I think Blackwell did that without much help from Watford!

My first game of the season and was very impressed with what i saw, should have had game buried before they equal;ised , controlled large parts, of game but didnt take our chances . we Must do THAT, tho, Beckford had a quiet night by his standards Becchio rested for Sat which is more important than last night not that i am complaning btw as i live in Watford still does not come close to easying the pain of Cardiff tho

West ham away in R3 anyone

I suspect you were one of the few people from Watford at the match! The travelling away support was poor.

Apart from Hughes, who admittedly is out of positon, I thought everyone played well. Grella, apart from looking like Alan Smith, worked hard but he is too lightweight.

I was surprised the attendance was only 14000. It seemed a lot more.

My stepson drove us up, and he is Watford he got a ticket off a Mate outside ground , as for the att, yes it was poor but £15 to watch a lower league championship team with no very poor support didnt help either, oh and on subject of support, wonder what our crowd will be if we win on Sat at Colchester will it be v Stoockport @ £26 AT CAT A, Stockport cat (A)

Glad he's penned a new contract otherwise he couldve been off. Only 5 more days to keep hold of Becks, can we do it?

I wouldn't mind losing him for nothing next year but we'll be inthe championship then so why would he want to go?

I think deep down Beckford knows his limitations. He is a great player at our level but his all round play is limited. It's a bit like what did the Romans ever do for us? Apart from score goals what does Beckford do for the team!

As I've said before, and I'll no doubt say again, Snodgrass is the heartbeat of the team. I just hope no-one from a higher division notices.
