7 points clear after the Irish Carlisle lads sink Charlton.
We are on fire who will stop us now?

After supporting the club for over 40 years the answer to your question is, us! However, eight goals and none conceded in the last 2 matches is grounds for optimism.

According to some Leeds fan sites the Swindon Game might be called off due to International call ups which in that case
means we dont have a League Game now till Nov 21st (Brighton a)

Kettering away next, Histon still in the memory. Like Histon last season (not this season for they seem to be in financial problems now) Kettering are going very well and their boss Mark Cooper is highly rated. Leeds should be OK but only if they put in a professional performance. Anything less and they will be in trouble, just ask Charlton.

Thankfully we have Grayson in charge now. He usually plays five in midfield when we are away to the tricky sides.

Take it you are aware that Mark cooper is the son of former Leeds legend Terry (known as Top Cat, due to his likeness of the TV show of the same name

No that is news to me. I know of Terry Cooper but wasn't aware of a family connection. He'll be a league manager soon, with or without Kettering. Leeds should be fine though. Think Oxford away would have been a real test.

The team is much more robust than last year. I predict an easy win!

I've an enormous soft spot for Terry Cooper. He scored the goal that won us our first trophy, the League Cup, in 1968. Seems like yesterday.

Poyet V Grayson lol. Time to awaken this thread! What a match I would be happy with a draw v Brighton ( speciallly with Poyet in charge) they will be fired up but will show us what Leeds are made of.

Mon the Leeds!

I think it is a mark of Grayson's achievement that I wouldn't be happy with a draw. It will be interesting to see how we emerge from our long lay off today.

A bit of worrying news, Stephen McPhail has been diagnosed with cancer. Hope the treatment is successful.

That's sad news. Looks like it's been caught early, though, so fingers crossed his cancer treatment will be a success.

Think it's fait to say that it's not going to be 'WILL LUFC GO DOWN' this season. More like 'HOW MANY POINTS WILL LUFC WIN THE LEAGUE ONE TITLE BY this season?'

Feeling truly optimistic this season that we'll finally get back into the Championship. I don't want it to go to the play-offs as they're like a curse.

Looks like it will be a procession this year doesn't it?

And good news for next week at Kettering as their star boss as it has been reported on here has left for the Posh. They lost at home today as well, with their goalie the new player manager!

Hi Dirty Leeds fans

York City supporter here, and we easy beat them at our place even with that Cooper fella in charge. They seemed a bit lightweight up front, decent midfield though.

They won't trouble you lot.

All the best for this season. Would be nice to see two Yorkshire sides going up this season.

Thanks for this.

What seems to mark us out from the rest of the division is our defence. For the first time in years we have a couple of centre backs who intimidate the opposition forwards. Naylor and Kisnorbo are brilliant in this division. Grayson has also identified players that can play in front of big crowds. For too long the atmosphere at Elland Road intimidated our players not the opposition.

Forget the cup two very important League matches to be won First, both gonna be tough too,, we will have all our Players avaiable again tomorrow plus the 3 Loan boys in Hogan, Vokes, and Gradel, should be too much for Oldham
but they have a loan Striker themselves in Hefferman on loan from Doncaster , so he will have to be watched

After a Tough cup game on Sunday thougt tonight would be a tough game, esp at somewhere we rarlely win but itjust goes to show the quality we have in our squad, when we can leave out Snodgrass, Beckford & Becchio and still win without to many problems , we have not conceaded in the League since oct 18th, what a record and with Huddersfield
next up we could be 9 pts clear of Charlton by 2pm
Lookin good
