Well back down to earth today against Wycombe, to be fair we played really well for 3 minutes until we scored but then we just seemed to give up.

Poor performances all round, lets hope it was just a hangover from Old Trafford and we play better against Exeter!

I hope this is just a blip, I'm a little worried that our cup exploits may distract us from our number one goal. I don't think it would be a bad thing if spurs beat us in the next round (not by many though!)

I still think we'll go up but it won't be a walkover.

I agree.

The probable sale of Beckford is a further cause for concern. Paul Merson has said that promotion is not certain. He's correct. Luckily, Grayson is in charge.

When i said Back i meant on the Map rather than in Football terms, but i knew it would be a case of after lord mayors show, yesterday, and the Fuxckin Beckford situation is not helping matters either hope it is sorted one way or other asap , to bne honest i dont think he will go this week, or even next , as he played yesterday, and if he had got injured then deal would have been off if you atre selling a player you would not risk trhem would you , esp on the pitchs we have atm

btw, we are 6 points and a Game in Hand on Norwich 7 with the GD, Which atm isnt a problem, And Norwich have a Grudge match with Colchester next Saturday , which is going to be very fiesty from what i have read, Colchester are still bitter how Lambert walked out on them, and will be rally fired up too , and there is still a leagal battle to sort out as well

Grella scored twice for the reserves tonight in a 6-1 win against Scunthorpe reserves - maybe he is worth a run in the first team once Beckford leaves eh?

I'd like to see him get more chances in the first team myself!

Can we reclaim this thread for sensible comments about our team?

This is the lean patch we were expecting. We need to get behind the team.

Agreed on both points!

End of the day we've only lost 2 league games this season and all teams go through a difficult time at some point - we're still in a great position.

Would be good to get the Beckford situation sorted though, feels like we need to just let him go now and get a replacement in - even with Grella looking decent in the reserves we'd still need another striker in the squad if Beckford goes.

The Beckford situation needs resolving. I trust Grayson to find a suitable replacement if one is needed. He seems to be adept at finding players with something to prove although Vokes was a bit of a pudding.

Bet things were said after yesterday, and you can guess what as well, as No players were allowed to talk after yesterday and Grayson cancelled today off

Yep, just reported on Sky News as well that Beckford is staying til the end of the season.

Good, lets focus on getting some better performances together in the League now.

Can we withdraw from the FA Cup and the massively prestigious Johnson's Paint Trophy?

Fully expecting us to lose to Spurs in the cup and we can just play the reserves in the JPT, all these silly cups are just a distraction.

It's a race for second place between us and Charlton.

It has all tightened up at the top of league 1 hasnt it, I still make Leeds favorites but only a fool could ignore Norwich and Charlton now, at one point I thought you were going to walk it by about 15 points.
