Big match tonight. A win would steady the nerves especially after Charlton lost last night.

Gonna be tougeh tonight, in some ways toughr than Spurs mainly because this time we are the ones to be shot at this time
plus Swindon have a very usefull C/F partnership in Paynter
and Charlie Austin the latter more so than the former needs to be watched as he is only young and has scored 8 Golas in 11 Appearences neesas to be watced also Vincient picard
makes his debut tonight
Think Gradel will start tonight for us

Difficult game this evening. I'm glad Charlton lost.

Sooner we're out the FA Cup, the better. After beating Man Utd we've became complacent & lost the big lead we had at the top.

If we don't give the league our full concentration, I can see play off heartache once more

We had a lot of loan signings before christmas, only Doyle now. Gradel comes in but he was already here, Showumni goes out, Prutton goes on loan!.

We have all these games and suspensions for players looming, and not the squad anymore to challenge Norwich, and we need a second goalscorer if Beckford has an off day!

Add to that the mighty JPS trophy. We are in danger of running out of steam. I'm going on Saturday and we must win.

Apart from Waccoe dont really hear anything about Leeds on transfers , any rumours who might or who might not arrive

If it goes to Monday with no new additions DOUBT ANYTHING WILL HAPPEN

Grayson said: "We've got Max in and a few irons in the fire.

"Discussions with one or two players are going on, whether that leads to loan signings or permanent signings, and we do feel that we have to improve the squad.

"But we're not going to have a knee-jerk reaction and bring players in for the sake of it. They've got to be better than what we've got at the club already.

"There are still four or five days to go before the window shuts and we're working hard to get one or two in."

Leeds are understood to have invested a six-figure fee in 22-year-old Gradel, who agreed a two-and-a-half deal at Elland Road on Monday, but the club have earned handsomely from their sustained run in the FA Cup, potentially increasing the transfer funds available to Grayson.

The club were prepared to pay £175,000 for Barnard but lost out to Southampton, but Grayson's search for a new forward is continuing amid a damaging sequence of League One results.

The 40-year-old was strongly linked with strikers Gary Hooper and Billy Sharp while doubt persisted about the future of Jermaine Beckford, but he is likely to be priced out of both moves.

Peterborough United's Aaron McLean is also thought to have been on United's radar but his valuation may also make a transfer unfeasible.

priced out moves........Come on Ken ........Delph money,T.V money,Killgallon money............

If you're not going to the game, the reply against Spurs is on ITV1. Good at least that Leeds are getting National (excluding Scotland) coverage again.

Pro: Should do well in League One

Con: Injury-prone

If Grayson's got him her to play on the wing then it's strange because I don't think we're short there and he's not very quick.

If he's going to be played upfront then it won't be at the expense of Beckford will it? So we'll have two light weights up top and that's strange too.

It's a headscratcher this one.

Back to Winning ways Today, didnt go but i gather it could have been a lot more than 2 according to johhny phillips on Sky , sounds like we are creating chances but not takin them , need to be more Lethal in front of Goal, 6 points Clear of Charlton 2 Games in Hand, not bothered whether we finish 1st or 2nd tbh, as long as its one of those 2 places

Btw Spurs have only won 1/9 Away from Home according to Sky didnt know that

Back to winning ways. Hopefully we can go on a run.

Let Norwich run away with it if they wish I'd be happy with second place & promotion.

Best league performance for a while. McSheffrey looked really good and his presence allowed Snoddy to play. It should have been a lot more.

If anyone needs reminding why we need promotion look no further than Colchester. They were dreadful and they are fourth in the league.

My understanding was Colchester were actually marginally the better side in the first half and were apparently denied a stonewall penalty. Would be interesting to see what would have happened had that been awarded. Second half the real Leeds came out and it was all one way traffic from then on in.

It was a crap first half hour but Colchester were worse than Leeds by a long way. Their front two, Platt and Lisbie, were hopelessly immobile. We finally triumphed when we started to play football.

I actually feel sorry for Bradley Johnson. He works hard but McSheffrey is quicker and so much more skilful. With Shane Lowe we pose a threat down both flanks. Snoddy seems to be returning to form.

Credit to Grayson. Two more quality signings that seem to have energised us.
