Well it's a bit tricky to repeat em, but most were in good humour rather than being particularly offensive (honest)

A current favourite which gets sang at most aways -
- "We don't give a ****, we don't give a ****, we're Leeds United, we don't give a ****"

A recent addition re: Grayson and the supposed affair
- "He sh*gs who he wants, he sh*gs who he wants, he's Simon Grayon, he sh*gs who he wants"

Of course there's the standard Bates Out stuff, which includes -
- "Get out of our club, get out of our club, you chelsea *******, get out of our club."

And of course Schmeichel got a fair bit of stick -
- "Your dads a **** and so are you"
- "You fat *******" etc etc

Beckford got a great reception. But thinking about it, that involved a song with quite a bit of swearing as well.

And then there was "Adam Clayton's ******* brilliant", "Let's go ******* mental" and a few more along those lines

Plus there was a Leicester fan with a drum just to the left of the away corner who had quite a lot of songs directed at him, he was a rather "large" fella but seemed to take it all in good spirits tbh.

Hadn't really thought about it before but most do seem to involve some profanties....but then most football songs do really, not sure the The Sun would make a point about ours!

Sad to see our former Manager Jimmy Adamson passed away this morning, although he wasnt the most popular in our history, he did at least take 3 points (when it was 2 for awin) over the Darkside , not that beating them in 70s was any big deal , most clubs did it , but it was nice when we stopped them winning the League in 1980

Here is the song of the time (tonned down a bit for ds ) that was sung

Hark now hear united sing the Man u will run away and there
will be a Massacre upon the 3rd of May

On pitch that is

Sad to hear, as you say he wasn't the most popular manager ever but he gave us some good moments - even if I was a bit young to remember his time at the club.

Fitting that our next game is at Burnley, hope both sets of fans get the chance to pay their respects.

To be fair to Beckford though, he was well up for it when they brought him on as a sub. Was one of the few Leicester players that looked a threat.

Us Leeds fans can't help it if we gave him a better reception than the home fans did.

Grella was unlucky at Leeds, just as he starting breaking into the first team we signed Max Gradel and Mike Grella went down in the pecking order, he is a good player who will always score plenty of goals whatever team he plays for.......good luck to him.

Yeah I think Grella was unlucky not to get more of a look in at Leeds, I always thought he looked a talented player myself. Unfortunately I think he didn't do himself any favours by turning down the chance to go out on loan to get more regular games, something other players have done and benefited from greatly (Lees, Clayton etc), so I think his attitude led to the management at the club deciding not to stick with him for longer.

But good luck to the lad.

I assume he thought that he could get into the first team. He couldn't win either way, imo. I just don't think Grayson took a shine to him, remember the likes of Kandol, Dickov and Paynter were all given plenty of chances while Grella got the token odd start.

Considering his age and that he was something a little bit different to the current crop of strikers, I think it was rather daft to get rid of him.

Yeah I agree it was daft to let him go, would much rather have seen him in the squad than the likes of Paynter and Dickov.

I think he was also unlucky because we switched to playing 4-5-1 for most of last season, and he's not really suited to the lone striker role so he had even less chance once we were playing 1 up front. In a 4-4-2 I think he can do a decent job in a support striker role - showed signs of being a pretty skillful and creative player as well as a good finisher.

Will be interesting to see how he gets on anyway, I can see him scoring a lot of goals with regular games.

I'm happy to snatch a win when we are not firing on all cylinders....2 away wins on the trot.

I wonder what O'Brien's problem is, players have to take some stick if they are under performing and Andy was not playing well at the start of the season but he knuckled down in training and was man of the match against Leicester.

I think West Ham are trying to poach him.

`He's a quality defender on his day, Why loan our rivals a player . I'd make Obrien stay until January then sell him.

Cheers for that, just got back from Burnley and still can't really believe we won that, we were terrible for 75 minutes.

I was wondering why O'Brien wasnt in the squad, guess he wants a move to West Ham.
