I disagree with you, Grayson is doing a good job with very limited resources, we need to sign 3 or 4 good players before the window shuts, the responsibility rest's on one mans shoulders if that is to happen........Kenneth Bates.
To lose 1/0 to Arsenal at the emraties , you think wasnt a bad result but when you saw how poor Arsenal via 1 player is the reason why i am disapointed, the fact that we didnt attack more, and Why was MCormack on the bench yet again, , it was a very tight game but i thought we defended well and Thompson was out standing via 1 slip, against probably the best player in Premier league history

Thanks Jimmy, the truth is we have not got a big enough squad to go on a cup run so this result is the best we could have hoped for IMO.
I agree Townsend looks a good player, when Snodgrass returns we will be a threat out wide.
I thought our young defence did a fine job this evening. We lacked any spark up front, ala, a Beckford type.

More annoyed from yesterday that had we played like that against teams prior to Christmas then we might have not lost so many points. Grayson should have brought McCormack on earlier in my opinion as Becchio was been held out of the game in a way. Still not too disappointing, the only difference been a finish by arguably one of the best PL players of all time. Still definate positives to come from the game and we did have important players out.
Yes I agree, lots of positives. Let's face it, even if we'd have beaten Arsenal the chances of us going onto win the FA cup were not that high. Not this season. We need to learn to walk before we can run and at least the team can now pour all their effort and resources into the Championship without glamorous distractions.

May be in a miniorty here but here goes
Am really glad we didnt equalise last night , because what would it have got us , another game we could do without , CAT A prices for fatty, and his cronies , which he would have taken All money for and not only that Arsenal would have had either wiltshire/rvp on bench, and , for one more game in cup which we have won only once which was 40 years ago , not a chane of it happening again am afraid

I agree, with the injury list and limited strength in depth of a squad that is lacking quality we can do without extra games on top. let's hope we can get some new players in asap.

for the 2nd match running we have been unable to break down a team of 10 men for more than 45 minutes , grayson is tactilly clueless , and leaves it to the 60th minute to make a change yesterday, even though palace were playing with 10 men from 40th minute

Groundhog Day. Let a play run down his contract, until he has six months left, then sell him for £1-2 million. After the player has left, bring in a freebie.
