http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...dji-Diouf.html Quote:
Leeds United are in talks with bad boy El-Hadji Diouf and plan to bring the controversial striker to Elland Road in the summer. Diouf was quoted on tv today that he fancies such a move. Diouf's contract at relegated Championship outfit Doncaster runs out in the summer and could be tempted to remain in Yorkshire with a move to join Neil Warnock. Should be fun as Warnock said earlier in the season that Diouf was lower than a sewer rat. I can see that working out well if you get him. |

I think this is more likely to be something that's been put out there by the players agent to let it know he's looking for another move or something tbh. Just the first of what's sure to be many bizarre transfer rumours over the summer! |

11 home defeats this season- why has it been so bad at Elland Road?

But also 5 of the 11 home games we've lost this season have come since Warnock was appointed (5 losses in 7 home games, a pretty impressive record), and personally I think he was trying to change the way we played and the players just werent capable of playing the way he wanted them to. For the last few games everyone had pretty much given up and was just playing the season out, even Warnock himself admitted he just wanted it over with so he could start building the team he wanted. Which can't have been good for the players confidence. But yeah, the end to a record breaking season at Elland Road anyway! |

Well, that's a terrible season over and done with. Southampton and Norwich, who were in a similar position to ourselves not long ago, are now in the PL. We, on the other hand, are struggling. Hopefully most of the players will be shipped out in the Summer so we can start a-fresh. It would be nice to know how much we have to spend.

Losing Howson, Johnson, Gradel I'm sure hasn't helped. Nor has firing Simon Grayson and then replacing him with Neil Warnock.

Did you know that game was on front of Subbuteo? Here you go. I remember seeing it in a toy shop and my parents ended up buying it.

Just done this recording of NW's interview about the retained list, and he speaks about Clayton, for those that did not get to hear it.

Woah. What a day.
Transfer Listed: Adam Clayton, Ramon Nunez, Billy Paynter, Paul Connolly, Andy O'Brien and Paul Rachubka Released: Alex Bruce, Lloyd Sam, Mikael Forsell, Danny Webber, Maik Taylor, Ben Park and Mika Vayrynen End of loan: Darren O'Dea Warnock has ditched 14 players! Now that is a cull n' a half. Here is a poster |

Good to see Warnock clearing out the useless f&#kers!
![]() Although I do wonder how many of the transfer listed players we'll actually be able to convince other clubs to take on. But anyway, I reckon based on that we now need to bring in a keeper, a rightback, 2 centrebacks, and about 3-4 midfielders (depending on what formation Warnock is planning on playing). So the real question now is - how successful are we going to be at bringing new players in? Always the tricky part! |

I wonder if it was Rachubka that demanded £15 a week.
![]() I have read that it was Aidy White that wanted that sum and he maybe going to Newcastle Utd with nearly a £2m compensation for us. Or KB's back pocket. |
