That is good news and a little boost for the new season, I thought he would be one of the first to leave given what Snodgrass is supposedly getting at Norwich, I'v heard 45-50k. Well done Ross.

It's my fault Rob, looking back at my post I should have worded it differently.

Yep good to get McCormack tied down to a new deal, could be a key player for us this season - was also good to see him score for Scotland the other day, should do his confidence good ahead of the season starting.

This could prove to be the most important season for Leeds since the collapse in 2002/03

Always good to start off with a home win but more than anything was impressed with how well we played today, considering 8 players were making their home league debuts the team looked well organised and had a good balance to it. This is definitely Warnock's team now.

Wolves did not have one shot all match. We did not create a lot of chances but we were solid throughout, I was impressed with Austin, Pearce and young Byram at right back, McCormack also put some lovely crosses into the Wolves box.

After the good performance on Saturday, very dissappointing against Blackpool - they were by far the better team. But to be fair probably one of the best teams in the league so perhaps not unexpected.

Peterborough on Saturday who are one of only 2 teams in the league to have lost both opening games, so I can see them beating us.

Everton Cup game is a Cat C ,game. maybe he has learnt from last years poor crowd against Man u , or maybe does not see Everton as a big draw

As the late great Harold wilson once said , weeks a long time in policts , well its even longer in Football , on Wednesday we lose at home to a team we have not lost to at Er since 1987, and who hadnt won away for 9 games , we then inflict the first defeat on a team who beat us 3/7 at Er last year and who then hadnt beaten us at Er since the 70s

Football its a funny old game

You were hanging on for dear life though, playing it into the corner for the last 16 minutes of the game...... Still, I'm not bitter

No doubt we were lucky to hold on for the win, Forest could easily have got at least a point but that's the way games go in the Championship!

The takeover thing does seem to be moving ever closer so hopefully that will all be sorted soon.

It couldn't happen to a nicer team.

Warnock said today, anybody carrying an injury will not be risked tomorrow , he says we are down to the bare bones as it is, and besides saturdays opponents Bristol city dont have a mid week game either

Aye I reckon we'll see some youth team/fringe players get a chance tomorrow, and I expect us to get absolutely battered as Everton are looking good so far this season. They'll probably rest a few first teamers as well but their reserve players are actually quite good.
