Decent team performance tonight, glad we seemed to get through it without any new injuries ahead of Bristol City on Saturday (although Pearce looked like he might need a few stiches...)

Well played tonight Leeds United.
You fully deserve your place in the next round. Good luck for the remainder of the tournament and the rest of your campaign. |

Great performence last night guys, hopefully thats knocked the stuffing out of Everton's confidence for when we play them saturday..Having said that, it could work the other way and we could get the Backlash.

Twitter latest.
GFH Capital Limited @GFHCapital We confirm that we have signed an exclusive agreement to lead & arrange the acquisition of Leeds City Holdings, the parent company of Leeds United. DUBAI (Reuters) - A unit of Bahraini investment firm Gulf Finance House (GFH) will lead and arrange the purchase of Leeds United Football Club, GFH said in a statement on Thursday. "GFH would like to confirm that GFH Capital Ltd, a 100 percent subsidiary of GFH, has signed an exclusive agreement to lead and arrange the acquisition of Leeds City Holdings, the parent company of LUFC," the brief statement said. Citing a confidentiality provision, it did not elaborate on how or when the acquisition might take place, or give financial terms. ... Looks like a takeover, not an investment fingers crossed.. ![]()

GFH Capital Limited?
Are they ludicrously wealthy billionaires who will expand Elland Road and buy a team of stars? |

I don't think they are, although the more optimistic Leeds fans seem to be of the view that they may be acting on behalf of ludicrously weathly billionaires.
But who cares, anyone but Bates!

Only marred by what looked like a really bad injury to Bristol City's George Elokobi. |

What a day to be a Leeds fan
1 England beat Kiwis to keep alive their 20/20 hopes alive 2 we win 3 Spurs win in Taggarts back yard for 1st time in ages and with the weak forward line up of Rooney/rvp days like today is what being a Leeds/england fan is all about

These trips to Ashton Gate are great, just up the road from me, and three wins in three seasons, when you add our record against Rovers in League One Bristol = easy points. Diouf looked great, though the locals didn't seem to take to him for some reason
Only downside is I got flattened when the third goal went in when the large, drunk bloke next to me caused a human avalanche over the seats with his celebration.

Bit of a strange feeling to go to Bolton, go behind early on and get battered for the first 30 mins yet still come away dissappointed with only a point!
Really need to sort out our defending from set pieces though. |
