Yeah we've definitely gone backwards in the last few years, current squad is full of Warnock's average journeymen when only 2 years ago we had we had Gradel, Howson, Snoddy etc and managed to finish 7th. That was the big opportunity to push for promotion but of course it never happened and it would take a massive overhaul of the squad and complete change of approach now to get us back to where we were.
The last two performances against Hull and Barnsely are as bad as I've seen us in years, we seem completely devoid of any game plan and have no-one in the team with any pace, creativity or desire - Warnock made a big deal last season of saying that performances like the home game against Forest wouldn't happen again, but this is now his team and we still see it week in week out. The problem with the new owners seems to be that they know nothing about football and so have kept Bates on to advise them, which is the last thing we need - it is indeed just letting him continue to screw us over |

Well after yet another no show at Barnsley and that's now 2
3 games no shots on target somebody and with rumours of unrest via players twitter accounts no prizes for guessing who's account something has to Change and quick IMO The squad is good enough to challenge for a top 6 place but warnocks team selections are questionable at best Not happy at al ATM |

Plus Warnock is only here til the end of this season anyway, seems pointless continuing with him as surely we have to start planning for the future. |

Yep we're not playing well at all, could barely string 2 passes together, seems like we have no real gameplan or tactics and Warnock doesnt seem to know what our best team is. We do have some good players but when we have players like McCormack (one of our most consistent and creative players) who can't get a game you have to wonder what is going on.

I am also puzzled as to why Mike Jones as good as said 'make us an offer for Bechio' in a recent interview. When Warnock was appointed I was happy to put up with the long ball tactics if that got us promoted, I thought he'd sort out the defence and make us hard to beat while along the way picking up points winning scrappy games. Has Warnock been shafted by Bates ? why else would he have taken the Leeds job if he wasn't promised a healthy budget to get us promoted, there were better options than Leeds for him to achieve his final goal. |

Yep we were terrible first half (as we have been in the last 3 or 4 away games) but 2nd half actually started passing the ball around, good movement and link up play from Green/McCormack/Diouf up front. Was the best half of football I've seen us play in ages. Will be interesting to see if we continue that approach vs Bristol City on Saturday or go back to the usual long ball rubbish.
All sorts of rumours going round tonight that Becchio might be on his way as he wasnt in the squad, club saying he's ill but who knows. Bit worrying that Warnock was apparently suggesting that the reason we passed it around 2nd half was that Becchio wasnt playing, making lots of noises to suggest he might be on his way. Tickets priced from £20 for the Spurs game, seems club have realised they overpriced the home game vs Brum, should be a big crowd. |

Oh well next up Bale v pelitter Oops ![]() Peltier has played in central defence the last 2 games (Byram right back, White left back) and has actually looked reasonable, so it will probably be Bale v Byram. No problem for young Sam!

Still not really playing that well, scraping results at home but getting found out away (at least in the league.) But 3 points are always welcome.

I see Alan Tate has also been quoted today as saying he couldn't extend his loan because of the "money situation".
So much for the new owners, seems we're still skint. So what next eh, sell Becchio and replace him with someone on a free, same approach we've followed in every other transfer window for the last 2 years? Sounds like a plan!

I'm not a Leeds fan but when you got the takeover I thought the new owners would really have a go at the play-offs and getting the club back in the premiership. Leeds fans deserve a lot better.

Putting in a transfer request is usually something that a club tells a player to do if he wants to take it further, that way the selling club don't have to pay a loyalty bonus. |

Groundhog Day !!!
Every season, we sell our best players, and then 'replace' them with loans. I don't blame Becchio for wanting to leave - we play terrible football and clearly aren't going anywhere fast. For Becchio, see Beckford, Howson, Snodgrass, etc. |
