Good performance by the team today, fully deserved to win. I thought Tottenham were poor.

Next ... Manchester City

I wasn't there, but I well remember the occasion. All we needed to do was draw and we would have done the double. That's all we needed to do. And we lost. I know that it didn't help having to play 2 days after the FA cup final, and I know that Wolves could do no wrong with the referee that night. But even so I can still taste the bitterness over 40 years later.

Hope the new owners have the balls to sack him, I can't see it. Don't see the point in him staying the season is over.

After 40 years as a Leeds supporter, 8 points off the drop zone. They always seem to collapse and go into meltdown after the new year.
Leeds are bigger than this surely?
I agree by the way about Warnock. Get him out.

None of those managers had our team playing awful 'football' like Warnock is currently doing. Not only that, his tactics, team selection, his signings, interviews, making constant digs towards players, moaning about the ref, blaming the local media, etc etc.

Aye it feels like Warnock has run out of ideas, he talked up his own abilities a hell of a lot when he was first appointed but has failed to improve results despite overhauling the team, and now just seeks to blame anyone he can think of rather than accepting any responsibility himself.

I just don't think he had a clue what to do to turn things round when his usual approach just wasnt working (and it's been evident for months that it hasnt been working), but we're now at the stage where it's too late for this season anyway so he might as well just pack it in now and do us all a favour!

Well no real surprise we got hammered today, Man City were a class above, but it was never going to end well with Aidy White playing right wing (again) and Brown - Austin - Varney making up the rest of the midfield. God only knows why McCormack was taken off at half time, he's the one player in the entire team capable of creating anything.

It was a good laugh anyway, some funny chants etc going round during the game.

Defensively we were all over the place today, we couldn't string more than 2 passes, they were always first to the ball, and we lacked that final finish the final ball was always a waste.

Why did he take McCormack off? Why did he play white on the right? I seriously hope he resigns before the Blackpool game, we need Change and we need it now.

The fans as well today was truly amazing, makes me proud to be a leeds fan.

Yeah - that's one positive we can take from the last eight years. We have backed the team during our darkest days (points deduction in league one, losing to Histon in the cup, etc). I highly doubt you would see that with a certain section of other clubs.

Can I just say, your fans were great today. The difference in football quality between the teams was obvious but your fans had a great time and that was noted in the City end - so much so that even a City fan on 606 phoned up just to comment on it. We enjoyed the joint Poznan too!

You'll never know how good of a manager Clough would have been because the board pandered to the players, you never know it might have been Leeds with a couple of European cups if they hadn't sacked him, in fact with the team Leeds had they might have won more than a couple ?

Manny cussins Leeds chairman at the time was pissed of with revie forvtaking England Job in 74
Revie told him to give job to Giles cussins hated Giles so decided to advertise it revie asked for in
House only when Bremner found out he applied for it
It was then decided to go outside Leeds
Clough was then at Brighton tho he didn't want to go
Clough wanted to bring his own players in
Bit without Taylor was on
His own

Cloughs comments going back to his Derby days
Didn't exactly put him at top of players list

The rest is history or heresay depending on
Your point of view

Yep Leeds fans are pretty awesome, especially the away crowd. "High impact" is the best phrase for it. But nice of you to comment so kindly.

Anyway. at least our result wasn't the most embarrassing scoreline of the day.
