SSN just said that since McCormack did that interview, six clubs have contacted his people with offers.
He go now, if for no other reason to tell club what he thinks of McDermotts
Sacking imho it's the worst decision since we sacked clough in 1974
Am lost for words to replace with a failed Middlesbrough defender festa
Is also unbelievable

Still no clearer today what is actually going on, although the club have finally issued a statement confirming that they have agreed to sell a 75% stake to Cellino it would still be subject to Football League approval so the change in ownership hasn't actually happened yet and there's no guarantee that this will go through.

Even though Cellino has apparently already sacked McDermott!

It gets better Rob the club just issued statement saying " BRIAN MCDERMOTT REMAINS AS LEEDS MANAGER"...it can only happen at Leeds.

Another bizarre day - beat Huddersfield 5-1 with Nigel Gibbs as "caretaker manager" and then the club issue a statement saying that McDermott hasn't been sacked after all!

"he has not been dismissed from his post as has been suggested and we look forward to him continuing in his role"

They must have gone round begging for his return after they saw the fans backlash.

Wtf is going on ?!?

Aye it could be that they realised they had completely misjudged his sacking last night, could also be that someone realised that Cellino had sacked him before he had actually been confirmed as owner so had no authority to do it. Who knows eh.

And even with the club issuing that statement, will McDermott be prepared to carry on?

It's an incredible coincidence that Leeds sack Brian McDermott, only to hire a new manager called Brian McDermott a day later!

Isn't the Leeds rugby league team's coach called Brian McDermott, maybe they've hired him

Tbf, this news wasn't officially announced by the club it was a lawyer connected to Italians who couldn't sack him anyway as they were not officially owners
He was told To not attend today's game by his lawyer
Hence the statement on club website

Sound bloke McDermott and a very decent manager.
If I was him I'd tell them to do one.

Bet he won't though.

So are we though it is starting to unravel a bit now the truth is finally coming out
Remember despite what's been on social media etc
The club at no time sacked McDermott , which is why the official site never had anything up
Tho this isn't last of it , but then again this new (prospective ) owner has sacked 36 managers in a year
Well he gone though 3 in last 24 hours

Is this making any sence to you ?

They can't pretend nothing happened though because he wasn't managing today's game!

I could not believe that 6-0 mauling was 22yrs to the day we beat you 6-3 at your place (lee chapman scored 3 )How ironic!
The irony is you have made that bollocks it up lol You are a day out and it was 6 - 1 to Leeds

Before you get all giddy what comes around goes around http://www.11v11.com/matches/sheffie...er-1995-22347/ and the same will happen again after this seasons result.

All the off pitch battles don't seem to be affecting on pitch performances
Since the "crisis " began we taken 6 points
And scord 7 goals

As for today's game once we mastered the wind and conditions result never in doubt should have won
More conmfortably but this is LEEDS

Aye after a terrible run of form over December/January we've needed these last 2 wins.

The next week could be an interesting one. Decision expected from the Football League on Cellino's ownership application on Wednesday it seems.
