At least something going right for Leeds at long last. Their form on the field has collapsed big time

How far a club has fallen when a convicted criminal taking over a club is something going right

Can't help noticing your team Newcastle are in self-destruct mode on and off the field.

Cellino is the best thing to happen to our club for a long long time.

Was an entertaining day out at St Andrews yesterday, always slightly surreal living close enough to the ground to be able too walk there but then go in the Leeds end.

Tbh we were crap, spent most of the game hitting long balls up to Smith in the hope he'd get on the end of one, but on this occasion Blues were even worse than we were so it actually worked. Once we were 2 up we did actually start playing a bit of proper football, passing it around etc, which was strange to see.

But mostly the feeling was one of being glad this season is over with (at least in terms of away games) and now we just need to see what happens in the summer. I'm pretty sure Cellino will make a lot of changes - I reckon him trying to sack McDermott and supposedly having 4 players lined up to join in January gives us just a small idea of what to expect.

Waccoe was full of stories of trouble between Leeds/west ham in pub in Brum

Didn't see owt myself and haven't heard of any real trouble either, I've had a few people that had no interest in the football but happened to be up the city centre on Saturday commenting to me on the number of Leeds fans they saw milling around but nothing about any trouble.

There may well have been the odd incident given the numbers of Leeds and West Ham who seemed to be around the city centre pubs from pretty early on Saturday morning but nothing serious as far as I'm aware..

Just saw that all the Leeds players and staff have been called back in from their hols for an emergency meeting next Monday
Not sure how that works if they're on a beach somewhere exotic

Looks like there may be a lot of job losses

According to yep, players were told on 3 rd May (derby) game that they wete entitled to 28 days holiday then we have to report back to the club as per contact.
Understand that Pfa. Have been involved but with training ground closed & locked untill July which again the PFA have been involved, but cellino seems to be laying law down and I guess anybody that doesn't like it knows where door is

Wouldn't be surprised to see Benito Carbone appointed "coach" while Cellino manages all player ins and outs himself.

Should be an interesting next couple of months whatever happens!

McDermott's departure was very predictable. While I appreciate that he had to deal with a lot of things behind the scenes since the turn of the year, on the pitch the football has been dire. There have been some performances that would rank high up on the list of 'worst ever' - case in point, the defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.

As for who will be the new manager, hmm, I've seen the name Dave Hockaday appear on the odds list. Joint number one (2/1 - 3/1 mark) with Carbone and Zola.

There's no chance of a manager with any sort of credibility or proven track record being willing to join us at the moment, not with Cellino in charge.

Sounds like this Dave Hockaday bloke is our man!

Bye bye Lee Peltier then according to his twitter feed and as reported by the Huddersfield examiner. Don't think this has been posted about moving away from Thorp Arch and other stuff by Cellino. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27938551
