So.another season.is upon.us, on.past form. Today's opener is,tough., but then.again.Millwall are bookies 2nd favourites to.go.down. But then.again.we have new coach and virtually. New team., so.no.idea,what to.expect really
But I will be disappointed if we lose heavily today |

One game in and already in the relegation zone.
. Yeah, I know, hell of a long way to go and anything can happen. Our next league game is on TV and that tends to mean we lose the fixture these days. We'll see. Some promise shown but if it keeps going this way can't see Dave being in post for too long.

Bit of light hearted one this but hull fans not happy after some alleged comments on snoddys twitter when he said , glad to be back in Yorkshire but it's shame it's not with Leeds , tho whether he said that or not is open to debate
Anyway Neil Wallis on talk sport has just fulled fire but saying he is right Leeds will ALways be a bigger draw than hull , and if they were in same division we wouldn't be having this conversation. |

For those of us with Sky but not Sky Sports, we'll be able to watch Leeds v Middlesbrough for free this Saturday as Sky have a free one day pass.

http://www1.skysports.com/football/n...on-august-16th After the reports I've heard from those who were at the Millwall game (couldn't make it myself unfortunately) it will be interesting to see just how bad we really are. I went to the pre-season friendlies against Guiseley and Chesterfield and we were absolutely dreadful in both of those, it doesn't sound like things have improved much since. Hockaday's idea of playing a "passing game" appears to mainly involve our defenders passing the ball around in our own half until their crap passing ability means the inevitable gifting of possession to the opposition who then go on and score.

Bradford City away in the 2nd round of the Carling Cup.
Always enjoy a local derby so should be a good game. |

Having been a Leeds fan since the 70's I don't know where this is going. Hockaday was a stupid appointment Why would a decent manager want to take over Leeds at the moment when he has no say in incoming players? Listened to the game last night on Radio Leeds (watched it on a foreign satellite channel) and I despair.

What took them so long?
![]() I hope Hockaday enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame. But you'd have to be completely desperate or a few knives short of a cutlery set to go and manage there, so god knows who will be next on the merry go round. |
