Bumped into Bates, on way out said to him , wasnt happy
with what i had just witnessed , said neither was he, didbnt want to say anything else, on that subject, but apprentley Gus (poyet) waS sITTING WITH HIM DURING GAME

Watch this space

When Sky sports had GP on the phone as the news broke of Ramos going to Real Madrid , he was asked if he would be joining him in Spain

GP said he was happy and settled in London , you got the impression he had a "local" job offer in the pipeline .

Londons not that far from Leeds , 2 hours commute ?

Started second half like hell on fire for 5 minutes.

McAllistars and Stauntons last stand.

Goals from corners again Staunton ur the man!

Guess who was at the match a certain Mr Poyet sitting beside scrooge Bates.

Expect the change on Monday! Poyet will take over!

Well Macca is history , who next ? I bet he wishes he had stuck with Blackwell now .

Gus Poyets name is in the frame but I also guess GP in the directors box at the match could have more to do with the friendship of the MK Dons Mananger Roberto Di Matteo with GP from their midfielding days @ Chelsea

1 + 1 = 3 maybe , we will see shortly

I must admit the further decline in Leeds form , around October last year did coincide with GP leaving for Spurs and leaving Wise on his own @ LUFC

Would Bates bring back a guy who left Leeds in such a way , maybe not ?

Wouldn't shock me to see Poyet getting the gig at all.

Having said that, my choice for this one would be Aidy Boothroyd.

Talkshite spouting their usual nonsense about how their old mate Gary Mac has been given the push well five defeats in a row and cup exit to Histon was hardly what was expected was it surely?

Paul Ince?. His name was mentioned on sky news, but not totally convinced this is a good idea, unless Bates has got some one better lined up to replace macca.

Would or Could Strachan be tempted from Celtic , he seems at odds with his club at the moment and the Leeds job must be one that is close to his heart

Would Gordon Strachan be tempted to leave a club who are favourites to win four SPL titles in a row, qualify once again for the Champions League and he has a good relationship with the board to join a League 1 club who aren't even guaranteed to finish in the playoffs.

I think not.

If Strachan leaves Celtic it would be to an EPL team not a EL1 team, no offence.

Never say never , depends if he savours a real challenge , TBH Scottish football is a 2 horse race anyway and can only be harder with the global financial meltdown

Odds please ?

I Agree with what you are saying partly, but if we were Promoted this year, we will be in a more competive league than the Spl (The championship) which is the 4th best League in Europe after epl, La liga & Seria a,

So if he were offered it am sure he would be intrested
yes, but its a done deal (with Poyet) if you believe rumours

I know few will agree with me but I'd love Danny Wilson to take over. I've got so much time for that man. I know he isn't a big name but he's managed in every league from the Premiership downwards and I think he'd be great.

Better him than Poyet or Ince, pleeeaaassssseeeeee!

well it looks like your arrogant club has done it again, Leeds refused permission to talk to grayson, so he resigns, which blackpool didnt accept...........so now blackpool will take legal action against leeds...........I hope they take 30 points of you this time.

Im a fan of Huddersfield and I used to have no problems with leeds, then when they came down into league 1 and all we hear now is too big for this division, we belong in the premiership, everybody hates us ect. Face facts you are not a big club, you are a fairly big club who had a purple patch, come back when u have won the league championship 3 times in a row, like we have. We were the first and it has never been beaten.

It seems leeds think they can ride roughshod of the rules of fairplay and decency.

Oh and waccoe, stands for we are champions, champions of europe.........joke

And Huddersfield are?

Oh yes, the fools from up the road daring to dream they could even get close to being the MASSIVE club Leeds Utd are and always will be. Your team is sh**e mate, your fan base is sh**e mate, in fact the above post is sh**t mate !!

Wake up, smell the coffee, there is only 1 big team in Yorkshire, and they reside in the west, play in front of 30,000 - 40,000 fans a number of times a year. Whats your biggest attendence at your sh**ty sounding ground?

Leeds United ---- Marching On Together !!!!!

According to Ken Bates on YR tonight we did nothing wrong. We approached Blackpool privately, Blackpool made it public that the approach had been rejected, Grayson therefore found out, he then resigned because he wanted to join us, we then signed him up as a free agent.

Plus anyone can resign their job, that is a right in law. Leeds did not make it known that they wanted Grayson until Blackpool made it public.

The fightback starts on Boxing Day with a convincing win over Leicester. Sadly one of the few games of the year that Iwon't get to see, or even hear, as I'll be on the south coast for Christmas, but I've got a friend at the game to text me score updates.

That fact, which is nearly a century old has won me many a pub quiz.

Here's one from this century. Leeds United won more points in the Premiership in the calendar year 2001 than any other team.

Do you trust Ken Bates at his word ? The man is 99% of the reason why people hate Leeds United.

Get real , LUFC have been hated since the 60's long before Master Bates arrived on the scene
