so i only ever watched series 3 and 4 on TV so i've decided to watch 1 and 2

im through the first episode of series 1 and i think series 3 and 4 were much better made
however the people in series 1 are miles better than the dumb idiots that we have seen in series 3 and 4

No, but I watched it a couple of months back and agree that the people were better.

Tim, Saira, Miriam and James from S1 are so far out ahead of anyone from S4 in business terms.

Even though I quite liked most of the characters in S4 they just didn't have the same capabilities.

I remember Saira as being a bit too caustic and offensive. She offended clients more than once. It's mostly bad things I remember about her.

Adele's sheer horrific mismanagement in ep 3 is probably my favourite ever episode along with her Harrods strops in episode 4... yet you have the feeling she would probably still do better than the majority of the season 4 lot!
