Hi, i dont know what to do...

I have a sony ericsson K810i, and my 12 month contract comes to an end in a few days.

I really havent got any problems with the K810i, apart from it looking dead boring.

I do really like the N95 8GB, but dont know weather to change to that?
I am being offered 1000 txts, and 400 mins, through a loyalty deal, for around £26 per month, (after cashback) - on an 18 month contract.

Only thing is i never use that amount of txts or mins a month, (less than 200 of each is prob the norm). So 1000 txts and 400 mins is the only best and cheapest deal they have for me.

I dont know what to do...am soo confused! Is it worth upgrading???

Any advise welcome...thanks

Well, it's going to cost you around £470 over the next 18 months.

Is what you use in the way of minutes and texts, plus that phone, worth that money? It doesn't matter that you don't use the full allowances - you don't get penalised for that.

How much is that phone to buy? And the memory card?

Tot it all up and then decide if it's for you or not.

What is your current network? What is your max budget? And is the length of the contract important?

Its with 02.
I currently pay around £17/£18 per month, after cashback, for 200 txts and 200 mins.

I didnt really want to spend anything more than £20 per month, but realise with the N95 8GB, thats not possible!

And didnt really want an 18 month contract, but again, the 12 month ones are really expensive.

I have the option of not upgrading and staying on my current contract, at around £12 after speaking to the loyalty department.

Or going for 02 simpilicty, (sim only), which is no contact, and £15 per month.

So many decisions...its hard

Did you try asking for your PAC code? When my wife spoke to retentions they couldn't do anything other than what they were offering her. She asked for her PAC and was told to re-dial another department for it.

They guy she spoke to there, offered her a better deal, with the phone she wanted. All this was within her budget. Even if they give you the PAC, you don't have to use it, as nothing will happen if you don't.

New phones are coming out in the next few months. If you switch to Simplicity, you might hold onto some loyalty. Then you can see if you prefer any of the newer phones.
