I'm a lover!
Brought up on it after the war in the fifties when some food was still on ration! In a sandwich with plain chrisps in and extra mature cheddar and strong home-made pickle onions! Or with COLD He*nz baked beans! |

I could never eat it until a couple of years ago ... I hated the stuff.
I bought a couple of jars of Champagne Marmite not too long ago. I've not tried it yet, it's there as a treat ![]() I usually have it on hot buttery toast. |

I love marmite on toast, but I also use it in gravy... onion & marmite gravy on mashed potatoes is heaven

Cheese and Marmite sarnies are truly ambrosia.
I love marmite on toast, AND on cream crackers/ryvitas. |

Only ever on toast. I butter the toast after it's cooled and then have a thin scraping of marmite. Lovely with a cup of tea!
