Sending emails via a Sony Ericsson/Virgin Mobile
My wife has a Sony Ericsson W380i on Virgin PAYG.
I've set the phone up to receive emails but I can't seem to send them. I know the SMTP settings are correct as they are the same I use on the PC. Do Virgin Mobile has it's own SMTP server? |

From what I could gather, Virgin Mobile don't actually have their own mobile data system in place, It 'piggy-backs' T-Mobile. That's why it's never been bundled into any of its price plans. And it's ludicrously over-priced. Sorry I couldn't help with your wife's particular issue with the handset, but given the current lack of (independent) infrastructure on Virgin she is probably better off without it.
