Is it possible to copy directly form a digital camera onto the Humax using the front mounted USB connector? or do you need to use a PC? I know that I could just try it but I need to buy an appropriate lead, and I do not want to waste my money if it's not going to work.

Thanks

It's a PVR, all it can record is the internal Freeview datastream.

Please don't reply if you do not know what your talking about. This PVR has a Digital Album facility. But it only mentions copying the photos for a PC not directly from a Digital camera.

Ok......

1) Get off your high horse Mr!
Nigel is a respected, knowledgeable and helpful forum member - so ease off!

2) How about you post this in the right place? - the dedicated Humax PVR forum here on DS, where the Humax techno-nerds hang out - they will help you.

3) A little humility wouldn't go amiss

Hi Mr Bowdery,
I tried the photo display on the Humax but frankly its a waste of time. Any decent res pics take ages to display on the TV. You would be better off wring them to a CD and playing on a DVD player that does pics.

putting stuff onto a photo album is not "recording"
