Hi there

Can anyone please help. I am receiving text messages OK from my daughter who is on a cruise in the Med.

However, when I reply it just says 'pending' .... so I dont
know whether she is receiving them or not


I dont have a tri band phone

You don't need a triband phone assuming you are texting from the UK. Are your other texts showing as sent?

All my other texts are showing delivered. I can only think she is losing her signal. She only jusy text me and I replied immediately!!!!

The thing with delivery reports is that they are only reliable when you text the same network and even then they are low priority. When you text someone who is roaming abroad it will depend on whether there is an agreement to pass on the delivery report. In most cases there won't be.
In summary, they are pretty pointless when someone is abroad.

Thing is they have got such a lot on that I cant pin her down lol
