Xbox 360 PC and TV
Currently I have the following setup
PC wired to Tiscali router Xbox 360 wireless to router and therfore to PC When playing video stored on PC through the Xbox360, the video keeps pausing to fill the buffer. I could, if need be,connect the PC and Xbox360 by wire but surely the Xbox360 should work better than this ? Any advice appreciated. |

Hmm, what router do you have? G, G+, G+MIMO, N?
I'd expect that sort of performance from a G and rarely a G+, as its a tiscali router try phoning them for help, if it keep happening, ask for a new one to be sent |

There are a number of things that could affect it. Are you using HD sourced material? How many walls are there between the router and the 360? What are the walls made from? Have you used NAT to make the wireless connection? Is it windows media centre? Have you tuned your network?

No walls as all within same room in line of site
The Video was mpeg4 not HD I was not using media center but the "Media Tab" within Xbox. What is "Nat" ? I am going to tune the network shortly |
